Jim Brown who played for the Cleveland Browns, was arguably the best ever at his position. When he ran and carried the ball, you either got hit or got out of the way. He ran over defenders with the force of a battering ram and didn`t stop until he reached the goal line. So it`s no wonder why so many fans around the NFL young and old, wear his #32 Browns jersey everywhere they go.
Most of his jerseys are made with the old school or throwback look, just as he wore when he was shredding defenses every game. He received numerous awards such as rookie of the year in 1957, league MVP in 1957, 1958, 1963, and 1965, and played in 9 consecutive Pro Bowls. Was there really much more to accomplish on a football field?
This could possibly explain why he abruptly called it quits in the summer of `66 at the prime age of 30. However, he gave us some great memories and wonderful highlights that will live in our minds forever. We can still look like him every Sunday when we put on our #32 Browns throwback jersey!
