Quit the roaming and get a Romo jersey

Say what you want about him Redskin fans, but Tony Romo is a winner. Dallas seems to lose big games at home, but always pull it out on the road when they aren`t supposed to. Romo has so many weapons to throw to like  Jason Witten and Felix Jones, so it`s no wonder he comes through when it counts most.

To have a stud of a running back  name Marion Barber, just makes it easier for Romo to continue to win in the NFL. I know his relationship with Jessica Simpson was rocky, but he now has nothing stopping him from going for another Cowboy title this season.    Continue reading

Magnificent Moss and his #81 jersey

Randy Moss has been an elite receiver ever since the Minnesota Vikings drafted him 21rst overall in the 1998 NFL draft. His leaping ability and his height, make him a daily nightmare for defensive coordinators throughout the league. Many knew he would be a star even from his playing days as a collegiate athlete at Marshall University.

Even though he was traded in 2005 to the Oakland Raiders, he continued to be a fan favorite. He didn`t stop setting records for receiving, which made people want his #81 NFL jersey even more.    Continue reading

The early Magic of #6

I don`t think that the New York Jets envisioned the early success of rookie Mark Sanchez, when they drafted him 5th overall in last years NFL draft. The Jets are off to a hot start so far thanks to a stellar defense and Sanchez`s strong arm and good decisions.

Sanchez has won over Jets fans as well as NFL fans all over the world. His winning smile as well as ability, is contagious. He signed the biggest contract in Jets history with a 5-tear, $50 million dollar contract. As Jets fans will tell you, he is worth every penny thus far in his brief career.    Continue reading

King Joe Montana and his #16 jersey

What more can be said about this football legend form Notre Dame? He knew how to win better than any quarterback in NFL history in my opinion. Montana finished his career with 273 touchdowns and over 40,000 yards passing. It helped that he had star receivers like Jerry Rice, Dwight Clark, and John Taylor there to support him.

At home or away, Montana is considered the best quarterback in NFL history and that`s one of many reasons why he knew how to win in the NFL. Even though he finished his NFL career in a #19 Kansas City Chiefs jersey, he will forever be remembered as a 49er.    Continue reading

There is hope for Detroit in #9 Stafford

The Detroit Lions were on a 2-year losing steak, until rookie Matthew Stafford and the rest of the Lions took down the Washington Redskins. Stafford who was the first pick taken in the NFL draft, did not disappoint the fans in attendance. They have literally waited for this day since his junior year of football at Georgia.

The headlines read that the losing steak was finally over, Stafford has arrived, The Lions finally win one, I think you get the point. Stafford has a cannon for an arm and his brief career has showed flashes of brilliance. If he can get some help from his defense, the Lions could be the team of the future.   Continue reading
